Firstech, the makers of CompuStar and DroneMobile, release the FT-RPS Touch, a window-mounted capacitive keypad that gives users keyless access to their vehicle

The CompuStar FT-RPS Touch is a multipurpose security sensor that mounts on the inside of the vehicle’s window. By entering a 4-digit customizable pass-code, users can lock/arm and unlock/disarm their vehicle’s alarm system. The RPS Touch utilizes five built-in blue LED’s, which act as a security deterrent when the vehicle is armed or locked. One additional feature of the FT-RPS Touch is that it can be used to page the owner of the vehicle if they have a 2-way LCD remote and/or their smartphone via Dronemobile.

OnStar FMV, the first out-of-the-box application of OnStar’s “blue button” automotive safety and security services that can work on 90 million older vehicles is now available at TAS Electronics.
